Rufous-tailed Hummingbird

Rufous-tailed Hummingbird

Columbia has a dizzying array of hummingbirds. To put this in perspective, there are 15 hummingbirds found in all of the USA. Columbia has 165 species of hummingbirds, and we had 18 different ones at one feeder.
It was a challenge to sort them all out. The red bill with the black tip is a good field mark that this is a Rufous-tailed Hummingbird (in case you can't see the tail).
